The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
